Almost the entire RC Laser fleet were absent today leaving Richard Whittle (GBR 801) and Hugo Chandor (GBR 455) to enjoy some tremendous match racing. Fluctuating wind strengths caused race completion times to vary from 12 to 41 minutes, nevertheless 11 races were completed. Sailing on a mirror with little or no wind afforded both skippers a tremendous opportunity to hone their light weather skills.
Towards the end of the day we were joined by surprise guest Ashley, who, when invited to join the next race and sailing a RC Laser for the first time gave both skippers a masterclass and won by a distance!
