Sharman proves a point!
Having been absent for several weeks John Sharman (GBR 428) returned with a dominant display to prove, yet again, how well he copes with testing conditions. On what was definitely an 'A rig' day (there were times skippers may have wished for a 'B') he took the first 4 bullets unopposed and still managed 3 further wins from the remaining 6 races.
Hugo Chandor (GBR 455) took 2nd with Graham Waugh (GBR 076) claiming victory in the battle with Richard Whittle for 3rd.
Newcomer Sarah Norton (GBR 460) took full advantage of her 60 sec headstart to improve as the day wore on, finishing, in the last race, a creditable 2nd.
Eight starting skippers made for a wonderful days racing.
