A fantastic days sailing was enjoyed by all ... all perhaps except Peter Hilton (GBR 34) who was forced to retire with 3 races still to be sailed.
A gradually rising wind demanded changes first from A rigs to B's and then after lunch from B's down to C's. With little 'submarining' the wind conditions were perfect for every sail choice.
On the scoreboard it looked as if Hugo Chandor (GBR 55) was unstoppable, taking 14 bullets out of a possible 15. In reality that was far from the case with numerous races being almost photo finishes. Richard Whittle dominated with overall second however it should be noted that every skipper took at least one 2nd place finish.
