Strong winds but a good turnout

"D"sail was the order of the day with strong winds prevailing, despite the conditions 8 skippers attended one a guest and another a New member. The race was carried out in the now familiar Burwain RC Laser fortnightly handicap which always produces mixed results and works well in strong winds. It was a question of reading the lifts and getting the tacks just right to maintain speed and position. Despite the strong winds thankfully was very few collisions with no rescues.
